A Local Church With a Vision Reaching The World

VISION:  Elijah Gate Christian Center is a regional revival center with a heart for the helpless and a mandate for worldwide ministry.

1.  A regional revival center establishing and extending the Kingdom of God in the area through prayer, preaching, personal witnessing, prophetic proclamation and ministry in the Spirit.

A.  Five-fold ministry focus.
B.  Evangelistic out-reach through public meetings and revived saints bringing in the lost.
C.  Working with the Church at large destroying racial and denominational barriers.

2.  A provider of help and hope to the homeless, hurting, and downtrodden of the area.

A.  Reaching out to the distressed with personal ministry and our combined resources.
B.  Affordable Christian day-care ministering to the family.
C.  A loving church family to grow to fruitful maturity in.

3.  A world vision of ministry to struggling churches in developing nations.

A.  Send teams into remote areas to establish, strengthen, and stabilize the churches.
B.  Adopt-a-church mission plan for US churches.
C.  Raise up and send out individuals and families as full-time missionaries to the nations.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:  To Exalt God, To Establish His Kingdom, To Extend His Kingdom.

1.  To Exalt God (Revelation 4:8b--11)

A.  In our private and corporate praise and worship.
B.  In our lifestyle walk of reverence, faith, and obedience.

2.  To Establish the Kingdom of God (Matthew 28:18--20).

A.  Disciple new believers to maturity by providing healing, teaching, modeling, training, encouraging, and strengthening in the Faith.
B.  Build loving, strong, godly families (Ephesians 5:21--6:4).
C.  Equip believers for the work of the ministry (Ephesians 4:11--16).

3.  To Extend the Kingdom of God (Matthew 28:18--20).

A.  Reach the lost through personal proclamation of the Gospel in both word and deed (ie:  witnessing, preaching, demonstrating a changed godly life, and by the signs and wonders of the Holy Spirit.)
